Job summary

Matrix Packaging Machinery is seeking a talented Field Service Technician to support installations, servicing, and commissioning at customer sites in the US. The role requires strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, plus the ability to train customers on operation and service of our machinery.

You will travel extensively, often 75% or more, and may provide on-site programming adjustments and remote support as needed.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and electrical principles knowledge.
• Willingness to travel extensively (US and internationally).
• Familiarity with PLC/PC systems is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Ensure inspection, testing, quality and operating specs are met.
• Directs and/or oversees customer personnel during plant machinery installations and integrations or servicing.
• Provide on-site programming tweaks to meet customer needs.
• Provide on-call technical support and customer training.
• Support after-market parts needs in the field.
• Travel extensively within the US and internationally as required.
