Job summary

ENGEL North America is offering a Service Technician role within its Service Department. The position focuses on installing and servicing injection molding machinery at customer sites, with emphasis on training customers and supporting field operations.

Ideal candidates will diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and software issues, perform safety checks, and coordinate parts and service with the central team. A strong customer service mindset and the ability to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma; higher degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs injection molding machines and robots, including tests and inspections of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic components.
• Performs safety checks on equipment.
• Educates customers on equipment and operation.
• Manages resolution of customer issues and orders for replacements parts.
• Orders replacement parts and diagnoses control system problems.
• Instructs other technicians and customers on maintenance and safe operations.
• Maintains communication with Central Service/Manufacturing/Parts Center for problem resolution.
• Provides written reports to the Service Manager.
