Job summary

Dover Imaging & Identification (DII) is seeking a Field Service Representative to install, repair, maintain, and test Markem-Imaje equipment across consumer goods industries. Based in Cincinnati, you will travel regionally with weekend rotations and work closely with sales to support demos and training.

Qualified candidates will hold a mechanical or electrical engineering degree, have 3–5 years field service experience, and demonstrate strong troubleshooting and customer-relations skills.

Qualifications

• BA of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree preferred.
• 3-5 years mission-critical field service experience a plus.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical system theory and operation.
• Interpersonal and customer relationship management skills.
• Willing and able to share knowledge and conduct training to diverse audiences.
• Able to work independently and with minimal supervision.
• Ability to travel with short notice.

Responsibilities

• Perform general field service repair and maintenance activities to support Markem-Imaje customers and installed base.
• Resolving operational issues in the field and troubleshooting.
• Determining customer needs and offering recommendations.
• Developing and maintaining competency on Markem-Imaje products through training and field exposure.
• New equipment installations, training, and maintenance.
• Collaborating with sales for demos, training, and follow-up activities.
• Travel to other division areas within NAM region; weekend rotations may be required.
