Job summary

Dover Imaging & Identification (DII) in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Field Service Representative with experience in industrial automation to deliver, install, repair and test equipment.

You will perform training, handle new equipment installations and maintenance, and collaborate with sales for demos and product support. The role requires a mechanical or electrical background and strong customer-facing skills in a dynamic industrial environment.

Qualifications

• BA of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree preferred.
• 3-5 years Mission-critical field service-related experience a plus.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical system theory and operation.
• Possess interpersonal and customer relationship management skills.
• Willing and able to share knowledge and conduct training to diverse audiences of varying size.
• Able to work independently and with minimal supervision.
• Effective time management skills; able to prioritize multiple activities and commitments.

Responsibilities

• Perform general field service repair and maintenance activities.
• Resolve operational issues in the field and troubleshoot.
• Determine customer needs and offer recommendations.
• New equipment installations, customer training, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with sales for machine demos, training and follow-up.
