Job summary

Dover Imaging & Identification (DII) in Chicago, IL, seeks a Field Service Representative for Markem-Imaje equipment. You will install, repair, maintain and test industrial printers and related systems at customer sites, ensuring uptime and quality.

You will troubleshoot field issues, train customers, and collaborate with sales and service teams to grow the business. A mechanical or electrical engineering background and 3–5 years in field service are preferred.

Qualifications

• BA of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• 3-5 years mission-critical field service experience.
• Knowledge of electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical systems.
• Strong interpersonal and customer relationship management skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, maintain and test Markem-Imaje equipment.
• Perform field service repairs and maintenance on customer machines.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and recommend solutions.
• Train customers and support sales with demos and service activities.
• Collaborate with team across territory and assist other service engineers.
