Job summary

Toshiba America Business Solutions is hiring a field service technician to maintain, repair, and upgrade office printers, copiers, and related technology at customer sites in the Gulfport area. You’ll also train customers, manage service calls, and keep parts and tools organized while following safety policies.

The role requires hands-on problem solving, travel as needed, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. A valid driver’s license and basic IT/computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in technical repair, service, installation, training, or support of copier and office equipment.
• Relevant education, certifications, or internships may substitute for experience.
• Intermediate computer skills and electro-mechanical aptitude are essential.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and frequent bending, lifting, and reaching.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance as per Toshiba policy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and repair printers, copiers, and other office technology at customer locations.
• Provide product training and support to customers.
• Diagnose equipment issues and perform installations, upgrades, modifications, removals, and retrofits.
• Complete service calls based on priority while managing your schedule effectively.
• Maintain parts inventory, tools, and test equipment, and perform preventative maintenance.
• Complete required Toshiba, dealer, and manufacturer training, and rebuild components in the shop as needed.
• Accurately document service activities and follow safety policies and procedures.
