Job summary

Toshiba America Business Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician II in Miami Lakes, FL. You will repair and maintain printers, copiers, and office technology at customer sites, while providing training and support to customers and documenting service activities.

This role involves installations, upgrades, and preventative maintenance, with a focus on reliability and customer satisfaction. A valid driver’s license, 50 lb lifting ability, and strong electro‑mechanical skills are required;

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of experience in technical repair, service, installation, training, or support of copier and office equipment.
• Intermediate computer skills and electro-mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform frequent bending, lifting, and reaching.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance coverage per Toshiba policy for positions requiring the use of a personal vehicle for company business.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and repair printers, copiers, and other office technology at customer locations.
• Provide product training and support to customers.
• Diagnose equipment issues and perform installations, upgrades, modifications, removals, and retrofits.
• Complete service calls based on priority while managing your schedule effectively.
• Maintain parts inventory, tools, and test equipment, and perform preventative maintenance.
• Complete required Toshiba, dealer, and manufacturer training, and rebuild components in the shop as needed.
• Accurately document service activities and follow safety policies and procedures.
