Job summary

Toshiba America Business Solutions is hiring a Field Service Technician II in Miami Lakes, FL. You will maintain, repair, and install office technology, including printers and copiers, at customer sites within your territory.

You’ll provide training, diagnose issues, perform upgrades and retrofits, and complete service calls with a strong emphasis on safety and documentation. A valid driver's license and ability to lift 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years of experience in technical repair, service, installation, training, or support of copier and office equipment.
• Relevant education/certs may be considered in lieu of experience.
• Intermediate computer skills are needed.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform bending, lifting, and reaching.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance for roles using personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and repair printers, copiers, and other office technology at customer locations.
• Provide product training and support to customers.
• Diagnose equipment issues and perform installations, upgrades, modifications, removals, and retrofits.
• Complete service calls based on priority while managing your schedule.
• Maintain parts inventory, tools, and test equipment, and perform preventative maintenance.
• Document service activities and follow safety policies and procedures.
