Job summary

Toshiba America Business Solutions is looking for a field service technician to maintain, repair, and support printers, copiers, and related office technology at customer sites in the San Diego area. You’ll diagnose issues, perform installations and upgrades, and keep critical equipment running while logging service activities.

We seek hands-on problem solvers with 3+ years of technical repair experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of experience in technical repair, service, installation, training, or support of copier and office equipment, printers, or related systems.
• Relevant certifications or internships may substitute for experience.
• Intermediate computer skills and electro‑mechanical aptitude required.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance as required for using a personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and repair printers, copiers, and other office technology at customer locations
• Provide product training and support to customers
• Diagnose equipment issues and perform installations, upgrades, modifications, removals, and retrofits.
• Complete service calls based on priority while managing your schedule effectively
• Maintain parts inventory, tools, and test equipment, and perform preventative maintenance
• Complete required Toshiba, dealer, and manufacturer training, and rebuild components in the shop as needed
• Accurately document service activities and follow safety policies and procedures
