Job summary

Toshiba America Business Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician to support customers across the New York territory, providing hands-on repair, installation, and upgrades for printers, copiers, and MPS environments. You will diagnose issues, train customers, and perform preventative maintenance in diverse customer locations.

The role requires electro-mechanical aptitude, 3+ years of related experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of experience in technical repair, service, installation, training, or support of copier and office equipment or related products.
• Intermediate computer skills and strong electro-mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and repair printers, copiers, and other office technology at customer locations.
• Provide product training and support to customers.
• Diagnose equipment issues and perform installations, upgrades, modifications, removals, and retrofits.
• Complete service calls based on priority while managing your schedule effectively.
• Maintain parts inventory, tools, and test equipment, and perform preventative maintenance.
• Complete required Toshiba, dealer, and manufacturer training, and rebuild components in the shop as needed.
• Accurately document service activities and follow safety policies and procedures.
