Job summary

Toshiba America Business Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician II to support our Columbia, SC service area. You’ll troubleshoot, repair, install, and upgrade office technology including printers, copiers, and related Managed Print Services for customers within your territory.

You’ll diagnose equipment issues, perform preventative maintenance, and provide product training while documenting service activities and following safety policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of experience in technical repair, service, installation, training, or support of copier and office equipment.
• Intermediate computer skills and strong electro-mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and repair printers, copiers, and other office technology at customer locations
• Provide product training and support to customers
• Diagnose equipment issues and perform installations, upgrades, modifications, removals, and retrofits.
• Complete service calls based on priority while managing your schedule effectively
• Maintain parts inventory, tools, and test equipment, and perform preventative maintenance
• Complete required Toshiba, dealer, and manufacturer training, and rebuild components in the shop as needed
• Accurately document service activities and follow safety policies and procedures
