Toshiba America Business Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician II in East Syracuse, NY. You will service printers, copiers, and related office technology at customer locations, performing installs, repairs and upgrades while delivering hands-on support and training.

You will troubleshoot, diagnose issues, manage a service schedule, and ensure safety and documentation standards are met. A valid driver's license and mechanical aptitude are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in technical repair, service, installation, training, or support of copier and office equipment.
• High School Diploma or GED is required; related certifications may be considered in lieu of experience.
• Intermediate computer skills and electro-mechanical aptitude are required.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance coverage per Toshiba policy for using a personal vehicle.

Responsabilités

• Maintain, service, and repair printers, copiers, and other office technology at customer locations.
• Provide product training and support to customers.
• Diagnose equipment issues and perform installations, upgrades, modifications, removals, and retrofits.
• Complete service calls based on priority while managing your schedule effectively.
• Maintain parts inventory, tools, and test equipment, and perform preventative maintenance.
• Complete required Toshiba, dealer, and manufacturer training, and rebuild components in the shop as needed.
• Accurately document service activities and follow safety policies and procedures.
• Provide guidance to less experienced technicians to support first-call efficiency.
