Job summary

Toshiba America Business Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician I to support customers in the Rochester, NY area. You will travel to client sites to install, diagnose, service, and repair printers, copiers, and related devices, ensuring equipment operates reliably to support business needs.

The role emphasizes hands-on repair, training customers, and growing technical expertise within a global technology organization. A strong safety mindset and valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in technical repair or installation of copier/office equipment.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and frequent bending.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance per Toshiba policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide printer and copier maintenance, service, and repairs to customers.
• Deliver product training efficiently and effectively; diagnose equipment issues and installations/upgrades.
• Make modifications, remove old units, and retrofit existing hardware.
• Complete field calls according to priority with good time management.
• Continuously enhance your technical skills for field assignments.
• Rebuild components at the shop.
