Job summary

Canon U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to diagnose and repair Canon-supported devices across customer sites. You will handle basic mechanical, software, and network issues using established procedures and maintain equipment to Canon standards.

This customer-facing role requires travel, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. The position offers a competitive hourly rate and transportation allowance.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent; 1–2 years relevant experience.
• Willingness to travel and obtain security clearances.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and perform shift/on-call work.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose basic mechanical, software, network, and system failures using established procedures.
• Service and repair designated equipment to Canon standards and specifications.
• Maintain knowledge of multiple product groups and troubleshoot.
• Meet customer demands with efficient, responsive field/shop/on-site maintenance.
• Maintain technical information and reports; manage Canon property.
• Provide direction to less experienced technicians.
• Resolve escalated technical and customer service issues across territories.
