Job summary

Canon U.S.A. is seeking a Field Service Technician to diagnose mechanical, software, network, and system issues, and service Canon equipment on customer sites. Role involves on-site maintenance, using established procedures and adhering to Canon standards.

Responsibilities include repairing equipment, maintaining technical knowledge across product groups, and managing Field Service Reports and expense documentation while traveling as required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required, plus 1 to 2 years of related experience.
• Basic understanding of internet environments and ability to complete PDIF new-hire class.
• Ability to travel (valid driver's license and driving record).
• Capability to work in a 24/7 environment with shift work and on-call rotations.
• Must obtain security/clearances required by customers to enter premises.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose basic mechanical, software, network, and system failures using established procedures.
• Service and repair designated equipment to Canon standards and specifications.
• Maintain knowledge of multiple product groups, including basic diagnostics.
