Job summary

Canon USA is seeking a dedicated Field Service professional to diagnose and repair Canon equipment across customer sites. The role emphasizes hands-on service, adherence to Canon standards, and clear communication with customers.

You will travel as needed, participate in 24/7 shift rotations, and work within a team to ensure rapid, accurate problem resolution. This is a customer-facing position requiring reliability and technical competence.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; 1–2 years related experience.
• Basic understanding of internet environments.
• Ability to travel with valid driver's license.
• Willingness to work in a 24/7 environment with shift/on-call duties.
• Must obtain required security/clearances as per customer.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and be active >50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose basic mechanical, software, network, and system failures using established procedures.
• Service and repair designated equipment to Canon standards and specifications.
• Maintain knowledge of multiple product groups and basic troubleshooting.
• Meet and exceed customer demands with efficient, responsive field maintenance.
• Maintain all Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property.
• Provide direction to less experienced technicians.
• Provide solutions for escalated technical and customer service issues for any territory.
