Job summary

Canon USA is seeking a Field Service Technician for on-site and shop maintenance in the Nashville area. You will diagnose basic mechanical, software, network, and system issues and service Canon equipment to required standards.

The role requires travel, shift work, and the ability to obtain needed clearances. A 50 lb lift capacity and active engagement in a 24/7 environment are essential. Join a global imaging leader and partner with experienced team members.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
• 1–2 years related experience preferred.
• Ability to travel (valid driver’s license and driving record).
• Willingness to work in a 24/7 environment and participate in shift/on-call rotations.
• Must obtain security/clearances required by customers to enter premises.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and staying active more than 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose basic mechanical, software, network, and system failures using established procedures.
• Service and repair designated equipment to Canon standards and specifications.
• Maintain working knowledge of multiple product groups including basic troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Meet and exceed customer demands with efficient, responsive on-site maintenance.
• Maintain all technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property.
• Provide direction to less experienced technicians and maintain Canon property.
• Offer solutions for escalated technical or customer service issues across territories.
