Job summary

Canon U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a field service technician to diagnose and repair Canon equipment at customer sites, maintain knowledge across product groups, and provide timely, accurate service.

The role requires 1–2 years' related experience, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, travel, and willingness to work shifts including on-call rotations. This full-time on-site role offers hourly pay with a transportation allowance and a comprehensive benefits package, supporting a leading digital imaging

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience, plus 1–2 years of related experience.
• Basic understanding of internet environments and PDIF new-hire class.
• Willingness and ability to travel with valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose basic mechanical, software, network, and system failures using established procedures.
• Service and repair designated equipment to Canon standards and specifications.
• Maintain knowledge of multiple product groups and perform basic troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Meet and exceed customer demands by providing efficient, responsive, and accurate field, shop, or on-site maintenance.
• Maintain all technical information, field reports, expense reports, and Canon property.
• Provide direction to less experienced technicians where applicable.
• Offer solutions for escalated technical or customer service-related issues for any territory.
