Job summary

Canon U.S.A., Inc. in Irving, Texas is seeking a Field Service Technician II to diagnose and repair Canon equipment at customer sites and in shop settings. You will handle basic mechanical, software, and network issues and provide timely support.

This role requires 1–2 years of related experience, a valid driver's license, ability to lift 50 pounds, and travel as needed. A thorough orientation includes PDIF training and successful completion of the introductory period.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of related experience.
• Basic understanding of internet environments and PDIF new-hire class.
• Must be able to travel with valid driver’s license and driving record.
• Must obtain security/clearances as required by customers.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose basic mechanical, software, network, and system failures using established procedures.
• Service and repair designated equipment to Canon standards and specifications.
• Maintain working knowledge of multiple product groups and basic troubleshooting/diagnostics.
• Meet and exceed customer demands with efficient, responsive maintenance.
• Maintain all technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property.
• Provide direction to less experienced technicians and assist with escalated issues.
