Job summary

Crane Payment Innovations (CPI) in the Saint Petersburg area is seeking a Field Service Technician I to service and maintain our coin, currency, and related equipment at client sites. You will travel locally most days, perform repairs and upgrades, and coordinate with branch teams to ensure service quality.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in a technical/field service role, strong electromechanical aptitude, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in technical/field service or similar technical role.
• Impeccable integrity and trustworthiness.
• Must obtain access to secured environments; licenses may be required.
• Strong electromechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, customer-first attitude.
• Ability to work with others at all levels and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Service, upgrade, and perform preventive maintenance on electromechanical equipment.
• Travel daily 90% by vehicle; overnight travel 10%; long drives possible.
• Collaborate with branch sales and service teams to satisfy client needs.
• Address service requests within contract response times.
• Cover extended hours and On-Call duties as applicable.
• Maintain vehicle parts inventory and vehicle cleanliness.
• Safeguard company assets including tablets and mobile phones.
• Perform additional duties as required.
