Crane Payment Innovations (CPI), a part of Crane NXT, is seeking a Field Service Technician I to service client sites in the Minneapolis area. The role involves extensive travel and hands-on maintenance of coin, currency equipment, ATM's, and related software, with a focus on reliability and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years in technical/field service, strong electromechanical aptitude, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in technical/field service or similar
• Impeccable integrity
• Able to access highly secured environments; licenses may be required
• Strong electromechanical aptitude
• Excellent verbal and written communication; customer-first attitude
• Personable and able to work with others at all levels
• Detail-oriented; able to prioritize work
• Proficient in iOS, MS Office and Windows OS
• Self-motivated; meet deadlines without coaching
• Willing to travel to Mt. Prospect, IL for training

Responsibilities

• Service, upgrade and perform preventative maintenance on electromechanical equipment
• Travel daily to client sites (90%), overnight travel as needed (10%)
• Coordinate with branch staff to satisfy client needs
• Address customer service requests within contract response times
• Handle extended hours coverage and on-call duties
• Maintain vehicle stock parts inventory
• Keep company vehicle clean and serviced
• Safeguard company assets including tablets and mobile phones
• Perform other duties as required
