Job summary

Crane Payment Innovations (CPI) is seeking a Field Service Technician I to service and maintain coin and currency equipment at client sites in the Rapid City area, SD. You will travel daily, with occasional overnight stays, working with branch sales and other service teams to ensure client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in a technical/field service role, strong electromechanical aptitude, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Technical/Field Service or similar technical role
• Impeccable integrity and ability to access secure environments
• Strong electromechanical aptitude and mechanical troubleshooting
• Excellent verbal and written communication with a positive, customer-first attitude
• Able to work with others at all levels and manage multiple tasks
• Proficient in iOS, MS Office and Windows OS
• Self-motivated with goal setting and proactive work style
• Able to meet project deadlines and travel as required

Responsibilities

• Service, upgrade and perform preventative maintenance on electromechanical equipment
• Travel by vehicle daily to client sites (90%) with overnight trips (10%)
• Coordinate with branch staff to meet client needs
• Address customer service requests within contract response time
• Maintain vehicle parts inventory and vehicle cleanliness
• Safeguard company assets including tablets and mobile phones
• Perform other duties as required
