Job summary

Crane Payment Innovations (CPI) is seeking a Field Service Technician I to service Jacksonville and surrounding areas. The role involves traveling to client sites, performing maintenance on coin/currency equipment, ATMs, and related software, and coordinating with branch staff to ensure client satisfaction.

You will operate with a strong emphasis on safety, integrity, and timeliness, with opportunities for on-call duties and overtime. Travel is primarily local to the Florida region.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in technical/field service or similar technical role.
• Must have impeccable integrity.
• Able to access highly secured environments; occupational licenses may be required.
• Strong electromechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; customer-first attitude.
• Personable and able to work with peers at all levels.
• Proficient in iOS, MS Office, and Windows OS.
• Able to set and track goals independently and work without coaching.
• Able to meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Service, upgrade and perform preventive maintenance on electromechanical equipment.
• Travel daily by vehicle to client sites (90%) with occasional overnight trips (10%).
• Collaborate with branch staff to meet client needs and contract SLAs.
• Respond to service requests within contract-defined response times.
• Cover extended hours and on-call duties where required.
• Maintain vehicle parts inventory and keep vehicle clean and stocked.
• Protect company assets including tablets and mobile devices.
• Perform other duties as required.
