Job summary

Crane Payment Innovations (CPI) is seeking a Field Service Technician I to service the North New Jersey area and occasionally Manhattan. You will perform maintenance on coin and currency equipment, ATMs, software, and office products at client sites, coordinating with branch sales and other service teams to ensure ongoing success.

The role requires 1+ year in technical/field service, strong electromechanical aptitude, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in technical/field service or similar technical position
• Impeccable integrity
• Able to access highly secured environments; licenses may be necessary
• Strong electromechanical aptitude
• Excellent verbal and written communication, customer-first attitude
• Personable and able to work with others at all levels
• Attention to details and ability to prioritize work
• Proficient in iOS, MS Office and Windows OS
• Self-motivated and able to meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Service, upgrade and perform preventive maintenance on electromechanical equipment
• Travel daily to client sites (90%) with occasional overnight travel (10%)
• Work with branch staff to meet client needs
• Address customer service requests within contract response times
• Possible on-call duties
• Maintain vehicle parts stock and cleanliness
• Handle company assets and tools
• Perform other duties as required
