Job summary

Crane Payment Innovations (CPI) is seeking a Field Service Technician I to support the North New Jersey area and Manhattan as needed. You will service, upgrade and maintain coin and currency equipment, ATMs, software, and related hardware at client sites.

The role requires 1+ year in technical/field service, strong electromechanical aptitude, and excellent communication. A company vehicle, tools, and training are provided; travel and on-call duties may apply.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in technical/field service or similar role.
• Must be able to access secured environments; licenses may be needed depending on territory/accounts.
• Strong electromechanical aptitude.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; customer-first attitude.
• Proficient in iOS, MS Office, and Windows OS.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Service, upgrade and perform preventative maintenance on electromechanical equipment.
• Travel daily to client sites (90%) with overnight travel as needed (10%).
• Coordinate with branch sales and service teams to satisfy client needs.
• Address customer service requests within contract response time.
• Maintain and safeguard vehicle stock parts; keep vehicle clean.
• Protect company assets including tablets and mobile devices.
