Job summary

Zund America, Inc. seeks a Field Service Technician I to install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on Zünd digital cutting systems at customer sites across North America.

You will provide remote support and contribute to service reports, expanding on-site knowledge and customer satisfaction. The role requires strong technical aptitude, the ability to work independently under guidance, and willingness to travel up to 80% with occasional international trips, while

Qualifications

• Technical school education or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical, electrical and pneumatic troubleshooting abilities.
• Willingness to learn and apply new skills on the job.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on Zünd systems at customer sites.
• Provide timely telephone and remote technical support.
• Prepare service reports, warranty documentation, and expense reports accurately.
• Document service activity and machine data in Salesforce CRM.
• Escalate complex issues to internal support resources as needed.
• Travel for on-site work and occasional weekend events or trade shows.
