Job summary

Zund America, Inc. is hiring a Field Service Technician I to install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on Zünd digital cutting systems at customer sites across North America.

The role includes remote support and occasional international travel, requiring professionalism and strong technical aptitude. The ideal candidate will have technical school training or equivalent field experience, plus strengths in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting and excellent

Qualifications

Technical school education and/or field service experience preferred.
Strong mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting abilities.
Willingness to travel up to 80% and to work independently on customer sites.

Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on Zünd cutting systems at customer locations.
Provide timely phone and remote technical support.
Document service activity and warranty claims in Salesforce and related reports.
Escalate complex issues to internal teams when needed.
Train customers on equipment and software, on-site and remotely.
