Job summary

Zund America, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician I to install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on Zünd digital cutting systems at customer sites across North America, with occasional international travel.

You will provide remote telephone and online support, document service activity, and work with Salesforce CRM. The role requires strong technical aptitude, independence under guidance, and commitment to customer service.

Qualifications

• Technical school education and/or one year of field service experience preferred but not required.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on Zünd equipment at customer locations with minimal supervision.
• Provide timely, accurate telephone and remote technical support.
• Prepare and complete service reports, warranty documentation, and related administrative tasks.
• Document service activity and machine data in Salesforce CRM.
• Escalate complex issues to internal support resources as needed.
• Train customers on proper use of equipment and software, on-site and remotely.
