Job summary

Zund America, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician I to install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on Zünd digital cutting systems at customer sites across North America, with travel up to 80%.

You will provide remote telephone and online support and document service activity for warranty and customer records. This role requires technical aptitude, professionalism, and the ability to work independently under guidance while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Technical school education and/or one year of field service experience preferred but not required.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work independently and deliver quality service.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on Zünd cutting systems at customer sites across North America.
• Provide timely remote telephone and online technical support.
• Document service activity, warranty documentation, and expenses accurately.
• Record machine data and service activity in Salesforce CRM.
• Follow up on open service issues to ensure full resolution.
• Learn and become proficient in Zünd software and system operations; train customers on-site and remotely.
