Job summary

Zund America, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician I to install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on Zünd digital cutting systems at customer sites across North America.

This customer-facing role requires professionalism, strong technical aptitude, and the ability to work independently under guidance. Travel up to 80% (overnight) is required, with occasional international travel, and remote telephone support will be provided as part of the responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Technical school education preferred; not required.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting abilities.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% and work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on Zünd equipment at customer locations.
• Provide timely, accurate telephone and remote technical support.
• Document service activity and machine data in Salesforce CRM.
• Prepare service reports and warranty documentation accurately and promptly.
• Support trade shows, open houses, and on-site demonstrations, including weekend travel.
