Job summary

Zund America Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician I to install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on Zünd digital cutting systems at customer sites across North America.

You will provide remote support and document all service activity, with substantial travel required. The role demands strong mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting, a professional demeanor, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Technical school education and/or one year of field service experience preferred but not required.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on Zünd cutting systems at customer sites.
• Provide remote telephone and online support as needed.
• Document service activity and warranty reports accurately; use Salesforce CRM.
• Prepare service reports and related documentation promptly.
• Travel to customer sites across North America, including overnight travel up to 80%.
