Job summary

Canon U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to deliver exceptional service and elevate efficiency through routine maintenance of Canon-supported products. This customer-facing role requires travel, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 50 pounds.

The position includes a 120-day introductory PDIF program, security clearances as needed, and a transportation allowance. Full-time, on-site with opportunities to contribute to branch targets and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Hold a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of internet environments and completion of the 120-day introductory period and the PDIF new-hire class.
• Ability to travel with a valid driverʼs license and acceptable driving record.
• Required to obtain security and/or other clearances required by customers to enter premises.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Report product failure trends and serviceability issues with documentation.
• Provide efficient, responsive field/shop/on-site maintenance to meet customer demands.
• Maintain Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property.
• Demonstrate strong customer communication and satisfaction skills.
• Maintain performance of assigned machines.
• Support branch/district metric targets.
