Job summary

Canon U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to deliver exceptional customer service through on-site maintenance of Canon‑supported products. You will support customers with efficient repairs, document service activities, and protect Canon property while traveling to sites as needed.

The role emphasizes strong communication, reliability, and the ability to meet branch targets. This is a full-time, on-site position located in the United States, Rhode Island area, requiring compliance

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Complete the 120‑day PDIF new-hire class.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Must be able to travel to customer locations.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Report product failure trends and serviceability issues with documentation.
• Provide efficient, responsive field/shop/on-site maintenance.
• Maintain Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property.
• Demonstrate strong customer communication and satisfaction skills.
• Maintain performance of assigned machines.
• Help the branch/district reach its metric targets.
