Job summary

Aventiv is seeking a Field Service Technician I to travel to facilities and service company products, tablets, and related equipment. You will support onsite, hybrid or roving assignments, set up devices, train users, troubleshoot issues, and ensure security and proper usage across sites.

The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and the ability to learn quickly. You will coordinate with dispatchers and maintain inventory while providing excellent customer support.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in varying environments including on-site, hybrid, or roving duties.
• Strong multitasking and prioritization to meet deadlines.
• Experience supporting and training customers in product usage.
• Ability to learn company products and troubleshoot issues quickly.
• Good written and verbal communication with dispatchers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Travel to facilities to maintain, repair and resolve issues on company products.
• Set up and maintain tablets for users and manage user accounts.
• Troubleshoot tablets, phones, kiosks, video terminals, WAPs and related equipment.
• Coordinate with dispatchers and provide ETA for arrival and departure.
• Educate customers and provide training on product usage and security.
• Manage inventory and return damaged or extra inventory for multiple sites.
• Assist with software updates and installations on tablets.
• Maintain documentation, data entry and customer reporting as needed.
