Job summary

Leidos is seeking a skilled field service technician to service electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems across aviation, ports, borders, and critical infrastructure. The role requires on-site installation, testing, and rapid on-call support for 24/7 operations.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in troubleshooting and field repair, strong customer communication, and the ability to travel as needed. TSA eQIP background clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Related Trade experience (electrical, electronic, mechanical) or Military Training with 2 years of field service exposure.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience troubleshooting and directly repairing electrical/electronic systems.
• Excellent communication skills and strong customer focus; travel on short notice is required.
• Must pass TSA eQIP background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, modification, and repair of complex equipment and systems on site.
• Test equipment after installation and isolate malfunctions for corrective action.
• Manage work orders in CRM systems (Salesforce, Maximo, GURU) and coordinate repairs.
• Travel to customer sites domestically and internationally as required.
• Ensure adherence to SLAs and safety guidelines in a 24/7 environment.
