Job summary

Leidos SES is seeking a Field Service Technician to support complex equipment installations and repairs, with travel to customer sites across the globe. You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and coordinate with customers to ensure 24/7 uptime.

Requirements include 2+ years in electrical/electronic/mechanical field service, strong communication, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally. The role involves heavy lifting and adherence to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience directly involved in troubleshooting and field repair of electrical and electronic systems and equipment.
• Excellent communications skills with a strong customer focus and ability to work in a team.
• Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, modification, and repair of complex equipment and systems.
• Conduct on-site installation and testing to ensure proper operation.
• Isolate startup malfunctions and take corrective action.
• Update work orders in CRM systems such as Salesforce, Maximo, and GURU.
• Coordinate repair activities to meet SLA commitments and maintain schedules.
• Work in a 24/7 customer environment with potential after-hours travel.
