Job summary

Crane Payment Innovations (CPI) is seeking a Field Service Technician I to service South Cook County, DuPage County, and surrounding areas in Illinois. You will service, upgrade, and perform preventive maintenance on coin and currency equipment, ATMs, software, and related devices at client sites, coordinating with branch sales and other service staff.

The role requires 2+ years in field service, strong electromechanical aptitude, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in technical/field service or similar role.
• Impeccable integrity.
• Access to secure environments; licenses may be required depending on territory.
• Strong electromechanical aptitude.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with a customer-first attitude.
• Personable and able to work with all levels.
• Attention to detail; prioritize and proof work.
• Proficient in iOS, MS Office and Windows OS.
• Ability to set goals, work independently and as part of a team.
• Must meet project deadlines.
• Hourly wage 25.00 to 26.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Service, upgrade and perform preventative maintenance on electromechanical equipment.
• Travel by vehicle daily to client sites (90%), occasional overnight travel (10%).
• Collaborate with branch staff to meet client needs.
• Address service requests within contract response times.
• Work during extended hours and on-call when required.
• Maintain vehicle parts inventory and vehicle cleanliness.
• Safeguard company assets including tablets and mobile devices.
• All other duties as required.
