Job summary

Zund America, Inc. in Oak Creek, Wisconsin is seeking a Field Service Technician I to install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on Zünd digital cutting systems at customer sites across North America, with occasional international travel.

This role requires strong technical aptitude, the ability to work independently, and delivers excellent customer service. Travel up to 80% may be required; experience with Salesforce or CRM and MS Office is a plus.

Qualifications

• Technical school education and/or one year of field service experience in a related industry is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on Zünd digital cutting systems at customer sites across North America, with occasional international travel.
• Provide timely, accurate telephone and remote technical support.
• Prepare and complete service reports, warranty documentation, expense reports, and related administrative tasks accurately and promptly.
• Document service activity and machine data in Salesforce CRM.
• Escalate complex technical issues to internal support resources as needed.
• Learn and become proficient in Zünd software and digital cutting system operations.
• Train customers on proper use of equipment and software, both on-site and remotely.
• Support trade shows, open houses, and in-house demonstrations, including occasional weekend travel.
