Zusammenfassung

Zund America Inc. in Oak Creek, Wisconsin, the US headquarters of Zünd Systemtechnik AG, is seeking a Field Service Technician I to install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on Zünd digital cutting systems at customer sites across North America.

You will also provide remote support, complete service reports, document machine data in Salesforce, train customers, and occasionally travel weekends to trade shows and open houses.

Qualifikationen

• Technical school education or 1 year field service experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting abilities.
• Self-motivated, reliable and able to work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willing to travel up to 80% overnight.
• Organized with attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; Salesforce or similar CRM a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Aufgaben

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on Zünd systems at customer sites.
• Provide timely telephone and remote technical support.
• Complete service reports, warranty docs, and expense reports accurately.
• Document service activity and machine data in Salesforce CRM.
• Follow up on open service issues to ensure resolution.
• Escalate complex issues to internal support.
• Inspect returned parts and process warranty claims.
• Learn and become proficient in Zünd software and cutting systems.
• Train customers on equipment and software on-site and remotely.
• Support trade shows and demonstrations, including occasional weekend travel.
