Job summary

Greenway Equipment seeks a Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain John Deere and related outdoor power equipment at customer sites and in the shop. You will work independently, manage billable time, document diagnostics, and stay current with product knowledge.

You will participate in Greenway's training programs, follow safety rules, mentor apprentices, and contribute to delivering exceptional customer experiences in a cooperative Arkansas environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience with John Deere equipment and special tools.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Proficient with basic computer tools (Service Advisor or similar).
• Strong customer service mindset and positive attitude.
• Willing to work extended hours and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair John Deere equipment, in shop or field.
• Perform field repairs as required and document work.
• Develop understanding of technology offerings and updates.
• Manage billable time and thorough diagnostics documentation.
• Participate in Greenway training programs to advance skills.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations on assignments.
• Prepare reports and forms associated with work orders.
• Maintain current product knowledge of John Deere and competitors.
• Maintain vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment.
• Mentor Service Technician Apprentices and junior staff.
