Job summary
Eaton’s Engineering Service & Systems Division is seeking an Early Career Field Service Technician to join our team in a hands-on role supporting customers with installation, testing, startup, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical power distribution equipment. You will train with mentors and participate in a comprehensive program designed to develop you for future growth.
Expected annual salary ranges from $70,000 to $85,000, with overtime and travel opportunities.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or related technical field, OR expected completion within 6 months.
- Minimum GPA 2.80 or higher.
- Eaton will not sponsor immigration or CPT/OPT/STEM OPT etc.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
Responsibilities
- Support installation, testing, startup, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical power distribution equipment.
- Learn to safely use electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.
- Work alongside experienced field service professionals and travel within the district/state/region as required.
- Participate in a structured training program combining classroom instruction, virtual learning, hands-on training, and on-the-job experience.
