Job summary

Eaton's Engineering Service & Systems Division seeks an Early Career Field Service Technician to join our team. The program targets recent technical graduates and offers hands-on experience in installation, testing, startup, and maintenance of electrical power distribution equipment.

Training combines classroom, virtual, and on-the-job learning under experienced mentors. The role supports customers on-site and remotely, with a structured path for growth within Eaton.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or related field; or expected completion within 6 months.
Minimum GPA 2.8 or higher.
Must have a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Assist with installation, testing, startup, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of electrical power distribution equipment.
Learn to safely use electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.
Support customers on-site and remotely and participate in structured training.
