Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Field Service Engineer through its Early Career Development Program to build a strong technical foundation in electrical power distribution while gaining hands-on experience with diverse customers and locations.

You will participate in a structured training curriculum blending instructor-led classes, virtual sessions, and on-the-job mentorship to develop leadership and technical skills for future roles in Eaton’s service organization.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution with graduation date before August 2027.
GPA 2.8 minimum.
Internship/co-op or 3 months technician/maintenance experience on machines or equipment.
Willingness to relocate within the United States and hold a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Work on assigned projects for electrical power distribution equipment.
Deliver technical solutions to customers.
Perform complex engineering assignments including design, testing, or process studies.
Display proficiency in test equipment operation, troubleshooting, protective relays, power quality measurements and protection & control design.
Generate timely service reports on work, performance, and warranties.
