Stiles Machinery is seeking a Field Service Representative in Hartford, CT to apply technical, electrical, and mechanical skills in real-world environments where uptime matters.

You will install, troubleshoot, train, and support customers on advanced machinery and software, often under pressure, with strong training and nationwide support from Stiles. This role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Two years of technical schooling in electronics or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Associate’s degree or technical training preferred.
• Willingness to learn and travel regularly.
• Experience with CNC or PC-based controls is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, start up, and train customers on Stiles technology.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and field issues.
• Document work clearly and promptly for each service call.
• Recommend reliability and performance improvements.
• Build trusted customer relationships as a technical partner.
• Assist in training customers and Stiles staff on equipment.
• Maintain showroom equipment and assist with demos.
• Continue to develop skills alongside vendor and Stiles teams.
• Travel regionally about four days per week with overtime miles.
