Stiles Machinery is seeking a Field Service Representative to install, startup, troubleshoot, and train customers on advanced woodworking machinery and software, often under pressure. You’ll apply electro‑mechanical skills in real-world environments where uptime matters, traveling regionally four days a week.

Qualifications

• Two years of technical schooling in electronics or related field, or hands-on equivalent.
• Willingness to learn and strong sense of responsibility.
• Experience in CNC, PC-based controls, machine service, or maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Install, start up, and instruct customers on technology represented by Stiles
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and operational issues in the field
• Document work performed, problems encountered, and customer concerns clearly and promptly
• Recommend improvements pertaining to reliability, performance, and long‑term operation
• Build trusted relationships with customers and serve as a technical partner and problem solver, not just a service call
• Assist in training customers and Stiles service representatives on proper equipment use and maintenance
• Maintain showroom equipment and assist with customer demos as needed
• Continuously develop your skills and knowledge of the technology you’re working on while working alongside vendor technicians and experienced Stiles team members
• Regional travel averaging four days per week, with overtime and mileage reimbursement
