Job summary

ICEE is seeking Service Technicians to service and maintain ICEE and restaurant equipment, including beverage dispensers and ice machines. The role offers a company vehicle, gas card, and mobile devices, with extensive training provided at ICEE Academy locations.

The position requires high school diploma or equivalent, a strong mechanical background, and a valid REAL ID driver's license. Travel up to 40% and steel-toed footwear are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical background.
• Graduate of Technical or Vocational school, preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a valid REAL IDDriver’sLicense.
• Willing and able to drive more than 40% of the time.
• Must haveand wearsteel-toed shoes.

Responsibilities

• Trained and certified in preventive maintenanceand installations.
• Training and service competency meeting Grade Level 1 standards
• Receives dispatched service calls as assigned and ensures a prompt response based on estimated time of arrival (ETA).
• Performs preventative maintenance, troubleshoots or diagnoses service problems, and completes repairs as needed. Checks quality of all products i.e.: checking syrup levels, changing out flavors, cleaning around machines, etc.
• Maintains inventory and maintenanceonequipmentsuchas:parts, tools, and the company vehicle.
• Reviews service orders and service performed withthe respectivesupervisor.Keeps his/her supervisorinformed of customer concerns, needs, and up-selling opportunities.
• Documentsall work performed andclosesout all activities upon completion.
• Clearlycommunicates withboth customers and co-workers.
• Performs assignedgeneral warehouse duties including but not limited to cleaning, organizing, rotatingproduct, shipping and receiving of equipment, parts,and product.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
