Job summary

ICEE is seeking a Service Technician to service ICEE and restaurant equipment, including frozen beverages and ice machines. The role includes certified maintenance, on-the-road tasks, and required training at ICEE Academy locations. A company vehicle, gas card, and devices are provided.

Candidates should have a strong mechanical background and drive more than 40% of the time. Pay starts at $22/hour, with overtime and training included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical background.
• Graduate of Technical or Vocational school, preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a valid REAL ID Driver’s License.
• Willing and able to drive more than 40% of the time.
• Must wear steel-toed shoes.

Responsibilities

• Receives dispatched service calls as assigned and ensures a prompt response based on ETA.
• Performs preventative maintenance, troubleshoots or diagnoses service problems, and completes repairs as needed.
• Maintains inventory and maintenance on equipment such as parts and tools.
• Reviews service orders and service performed with the supervisor and informs about customer concerns.
• Documents all work performed and closes out all activities upon completion.
• Clearly communicates with customers and co-workers.
• Performs general warehouse duties including cleaning, organizing, shipping and receiving of equipment, parts, and product.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
