Job summary

The ICEE Company is seeking a Service Technician to service ICEE and restaurant equipment, including frozen and fountain beverages, ice makers, and juice dispensers. Expect travel with a company vehicle, gas card, and supplied tablet and cell phone; weekly service-center meetings are part of the role.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, a strong mechanical background, and willingness to drive more than 40% of the time.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong mechanical background and ability to read technical manuals.
• Graduate of Technical or Vocational school preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a valid REAL ID Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Service ICEE and restaurant equipment including: cold beverage dispensers, fountain equipment, ice makers, juice dispensers.
• Respond to dispatched service calls promptly; maintain ETA.
• Perform preventative maintenance and diagnose/repair issues; ensure quality checks (syrup levels, flavors, cleanliness).
• Maintain inventory of parts and tools; keep supervisor informed of issues.
• Document work and close out activities; communicate clearly with customers and coworkers.
