Job summary

Arrow International, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide technical support and on-site service for customer equipment, including installations, troubleshooting hardware and software, and delivering user training.

Travel and coordination with distributors are required to ensure timely resolutions and customer satisfaction. You will document service activity in Salesforce, handle remote support, and collaborate on parts orders and RMAs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Computer Technologies or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of training or commensurate experience in electronic and PC technologies.
• Knowledge of SQL, Active Directory, Networking, Windows, and Windows Server.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and customer relations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose software and hardware problems effectively.
• Log service calls in Salesforce and record relevant information.
• Provide remote phone support when not traveling.
• Escalate Tier 2/3 issues to the support specialist.
• Escalate any support issues to management in a timely manner.
• Aim for above-average first-visit resolutions.
• Work with distributors on parts orders, RMAs, and technical assistance.
• On-site installations and support with up to 75% travel.
• Assist customers with configuration and programming of Arrow equipment.
• Train distributors and customers on Arrow equipment usage.
• Exceed customer satisfaction objectives as outlined by Arrow management.
• Propose and implement timely solutions.
• Follow up with customers promptly.
