Job summary

Arrow International is seeking a Field Service/Technical Support Technician to install, diagnose, and service customer equipment both on-site and remotely. The role requires extensive travel (often overnight) and strong problem-solving abilities to ensure rapid, quality solutions.

Responsibilities include documenting service activity, coordinating with distributors for parts and RMAs, and training customers on Arrow equipment. Strong communication and independent work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or applicable experience.
• Minimum of 3 years’ training or commensurate experience in electronic and PC technologies.
• Support knowledge of SQL, Windows Active Directory, Networking, Windows and Windows Server.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
• PC, mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer relations and phone skills.
• Self-motivated to work independently without direct supervision.
• Effective planning and organizational skills to efficiently manage time and call load.
• Competency in various software applications including MSOffice.
• Experience with Proprietary software a plus.
• PC applications support experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose software and hardware problems effectively and log service calls in Salesforce.
• Provide remote phone support when not traveling and on-site installations.
• Coordinate parts orders, RMAs, and technical assistance with distributors.
• Escalate tier 2/3 issues to the appropriate support specialists or management.
• Travel extensively, including overnight travel, sometimes up to 75% or more.
• Train distributors and customers on Arrow equipment and configurations.
• Ensure timely problem resolution and high customer satisfaction.
